Synopsis:

Alice Howland, a renowned linguistics professor, finds herself grappling with more than just words when she is diagnosed with familial early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The bonds of relationship with her husband and three grown children are tested as they face a future where the Alice they all once knew would cease to be-when all the memories fade, will she still be Alice?

Based on a novel by Lisa Genova (2007)
