Finance Christian Fellowship (FCF) Talk

Synopsis: Christians differ in their attitude towards insurance. While some do not see any contradiction between insurance and faith in God, others are not so sure and some believe strongly that they should not insure at all. Does the Bible throw any light on the subject even though the word "insurance" does not appear in its pages?. What is insurance anyway and how should Christians decide whether to insure, what to insure and against what events or risks?

About the Speaker: David Choo, the founder, Chairman and MD, started Promisedland Independent Pte Ltd in 1986. It has now become one of Singapore's leading independent financial adviser firms. David lectures on insurance subjects in local tertiary institutions as well as to the insurance professional academia. He conducts insurance seminars in Singapore and the region. His insightful articles regularly featured in the financial journals. A BBA (Hons) graduate, David is a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute and Certified Financial Planner. He is an elder in Bethesda Church Bukit Arang, David believes in "Business as Mission".
